Woods – Songs of Shame – Vinyl Record For Discount

Woods fourth full-length album, Songs of Shame, was released in 2009. It differs from their previous album, Rear House, by moving away from the lo-fi guerillas-in-the-mist sound. The album features both 90-second and ten-minute forays into skeletal psychedelia. The idiosyncratic songwriting style and vocalizing of Jeremy Earl is still present in abundance. Woods have toured extensively as a trio over the past year, and the songs on Songs of Shame have been tested on the road.
